Ngl, I enjoyed the concept of this show, but it took a rather silly and cheesy turn near the end. ^^;

Junnie Mae • 1 year ago

Cheese turn for a cheesy-ish anime. Still, yes I too enjoyed this one. Hehehehe!~

JDC • 1 year ago

bruh i love cheese especially when it melts and stretches out so long like this whole season of rom coms lmfao.

I disagree I'm happy to finally see an anime that ends in one season it was fulfilling and didnt leave me with anything that I wanted to happen. I admit it did go into a very unexpected area at the last 2 episodes but still like I said a anime that actually ends is very satisfying instead of every single anime that is basically just a commercial for the manga

Magus Tabibito • 1 year ago

Strongly agree with you. Much rather have a cheesy ending than an anime that's just a commercial for a manga that also NEVER gets an ending...

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

Yeah.....
One sometimes wishes for the anime to have a "semi conclusive ending" than just "be left hanging" while the original source material hasn't ended.....

ALTHOUGH I think that depends from adaptation to adaptation.
AFTER ALL while I liked the We Never Learn anime, it felt anticlimatic they suddenly gave them an "ending" in S2 right when it was arguably the middle or the beginning.
Especially because there was a better point to give the anime an open ending if they didn't adapt all the manga (more or less the chapter where Yuiga finally decided to become a teacher and his mom met the 5 girls who were potential love interests to him)

JDC • 1 year ago

I'd rather have one good season than 3 more seasons of useless filler with no resolution in sight.

Demon Lord Ariel • 1 year ago

Hard for it to be unexpected when they have literally been building up to it. Y'all need to play closer attention to previous episodes

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

A few anime this season I wasn't feeling and came to really like but this was the opposite, I really liked it in the beginning but it kind of dropped towards the end which is unfortunate with how refreshing the setting is.

Josh Kala • 1 year ago

no kidding i enjoyed this different type of a happy romance anime

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

I still like the cheesy ending. It fits the vibe it was striving to.

I wish there were more "pseudo isekai" with this type of interaction between the worlds

Lucyw18 • 1 year ago

aww but it was a cute moment though

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Indeed ^^

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

True, it was just one of those childish soap opera TV-Y7 kind of endings XD

Endcsline • 1 year ago

The goddess singing was hella cringe

FlowingWithTheFlow • 1 year ago

Everything about her was cringe

Dbz Directioner • 1 year ago

For me I really liked the Ending. Cheesy it might be but it was nice to see all them meeting with eachother.

WorldGN18 • 1 year ago

yeah it got cheesy since the whole battle with the witch started, but I liked the characters and the ships so much I didn't mind

for reals i also really enjoyed it even though im late lol

Lord • 1 year ago

That was good.

Triduo • 1 year ago

Paradoxe : Guess they just didn't have enough material for a second season and they lacked the means to actually give it a proper climax ? -___-

Judgment526 • 1 year ago

The LN is finished with two volumes and this anime covered all of it.

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

Nice

Indivix • 1 year ago

That moment when a self-absorbed god gets berated by a handmade doll was absolutely great XD And then he gets completely ignored for quite a while again in order for Kobayashi and Endou to finally become the IRL couple they deserve to be.

Josh Kala • 1 year ago

love overcomes all. a classic but in this anime its worth to watch

Superb Villain Veigar • 1 year ago

I really love when stories are willing to go that creative

So this time Liese helped Kobayashi and Endo, and they finally confessed. The gods’ problem was resolved, and Endo and Kobayashi were able to go to Liese’s wedding – “The best happy ending beyond the best” indeed. I’m so happy, the ending was amazing and I was on the verge of crying.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like there can be a 2nd season, but I’m satisfied. I really enjoyed this story with a great idea that people from our world could communicate with the people from the isekai. I enjoyed Endo and Kobayashi's "commentary". The introduction of Kuon and Lirenna might’ve been a bit too much, and the hyped-up fight against the witch was kinda anticlimactic, so the last few episodes were a bit worse.

The characters were enjoyable. I loved how Sieg came to understand Liese’s cuteness (tsun-de-rais ftw) and how he was then able to compliment, flirt, and tease her in such a straightforward way. I loved how Liese was then acting all embarrassed – her red face was absolutely adorable, and her reactions were god tier. She is such an amazing and cute girl. She is a tsundere that is likeable –not the violent type, but she is bashful instead, and I like that. Sieg + Liese ship is just perfect.
Baldur and Fienne is also a great pair. I love how he can say all those cheesy lines to Fiene (he reminds me of Ray White in this way).

So yeah, the story was nice with great characters, and the conclusion was amazing. So, considering the ending, I rate it – 8.5/10.

“Sadly, it doesn’t look like there can be a 2nd season, but I’m satisfied.”

Yep. The light novel itself has only two volumes, and both were adapted here.

There’s a third volume coming out soon, but that seems to be a compilation of short stories.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

So basically if that 3rd LN volume comes out there might be a ova in the future.

Lone Mark • 6 months ago

Since Lieselotte made embroidery much like Kobayashi with her handmade liese doll... Whats chances of her making one of Endou and Kobayashi as a memento in those short story? That would be satisfying end of Vol 3.

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

I am glad they were able to actually meet in the end, I was disappointed that Liese was the only able to appear in their world and as a doll at that. But lol, couldn't Endou and Kobayashi at least wear something formal for the wedding? I am sure Lirenna had told them she'd have them visit Sieg and Liese's wedding so why were they still in their school uniforms?

I also wish Endou's confession wasn't done like that, I wish they had their own moment and not be in the middle of confronting the main villain and being pushed to confess, it felt like they had to find some way of getting Endou confess and settled with that.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I got to agree on the formal wear attire part since it was inappropriate.
But I totally expected something like the doll since she was using her power and the only was available vessel was the doll version of her self.

T-Murph96 • 1 year ago

That was lieses own power and she couldnt muster more than a sliver of her soul in that doll

Whereas the literal goddess of that world used her power to bring endou and Kobayashi to that side in their own bodies

And honestly it was probably a last second thing and the fact you don’t see many high school see that just happen to have formal wear for super important events just lying around

Nick Raph • 1 year ago

they might've agreed to it on the spot while they are in their broadcast room

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

Imagine if that happened right when they were with other classmates, and, due to the wedding being soon, they just left, leaving their kouhais / juniors with a "WTF was that?!" moment

Ian Nava H • 1 year ago

Imagine that
Lirenna appearing to them in their usual daily life routine, most likely after school, and she tells them Sieg's and Liese's wedding is happening almost right now, but they don't have time to get formal dressings, so they go like that.
But they make sure to bring a camera or their cellphones to get photos.

Ohms Nuttachai • 1 year ago

Lize doll 😍

So, the whole ordeal happens because of a lover spat that transcends space and time. Kind of silly but in a good way.

And they finally met. That's a quite satisfying ending. But I still think the story from Endou and Kobayashi's side is a bit lacking.

The story managed to pull me in all the way until the end. I'm glad it didn't rely on the simple premise since the Lize tsundere act got old really fast. The show keeps coming up with new plot threads to keep the story fresh.

The animation and visuals are just fine and there's nothing to write home about. The OP and ED are quite catchy. The overall production quality is above average.

All in all, this might be my favorite villainess Isekai so far. 7.5/10 from me.

Lize doll 😍

Junnie Mae • 1 year ago

That's some wild ending huh? They both got isekai'd~ Hehehe. I really enjoyed this series more than I expected. It was whacky but a fun ride nonetheless. Great series! :D

And so ends Tsundere Akuyaku Reijou Liselotte to Jikkyou no Endou-kun to Kaisetsu no Kobayashi-san! (Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte!)
Source: LN
Genres: Fantasy, romance, comedy.
Studio: Tezuka Productions.
(A vintage studio with a long resume of anime going decades, they're known for Astro Boy franchise, Black Jack, Goutoban no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) S1, Digashi Kashi S2, Kanojo no Kannojo (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) and many more.)

Personal Perspective:
For a light hearted fantasy rom-com that takes the view point of otomi-games where you actually are given the power to see a legitimist where you can change the fate of characters of that world and help find the perfect ending and help those characters find love is unique and this sinply has that.
And not only you help them but you also find the commentators find their own... ^^

Personal thoughts:
The wholes premise to help the tsundere Lieselotte and Sieg find they're standing ground of and open to each other was both wholesome and exciting and Lieselotte whole tsun acting while every blushing moment was cute and funny. Also I love their personalities ^//^.
The whole resolves around Baldur & Fiene was really nice but awkward to see and wondering where that was going, but oh so sweet.

The whole interaction with each Otomi game character was epic and the cheerful personality of
Kobayashi with the quit laidback Endo was perfect in all.

The endings true final boss Koun was not what expected but interesting and enjoy that "Oh lets just ignore him while talking a talking doll with the spirit of the main girl character that making us confess to each other," And yeah the handmade doll was oh so hilarious XD
Anyways love this whole ending and ended with a wedding and ships sailing but this kind of final ep is too happy go lucky cheesy but in a good way that I can get behind.

The animation + visuals are pretty good, catchy OP and ED, really love soundtrack of the ending that catches my eye. VA's were awesome. Story was pretty solid. I've enjoy this to dear and gets a solid 8/10.
